Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of Terms
Your use of this website (the "Site"), operated by CaseWell LLP ("the Firm," "we," "us," or "our"), constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Site, whether or not they are existing clients of the Firm.
Attorney Advertising
The content of this Site may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of the New York State Unified Court System, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (England & Wales), and the bar rules of other jurisdictions in which our attorneys practice. Prior results described on the Site do not guarantee a similar outcome in any future matter.
The Firm does not seek to represent anyone based solely on a viewing of the Site in a jurisdiction where doing so may not comply with applicable laws or bar regulations.
Not Legal Advice
Information on the Site — including descriptions of our practice areas, attorney biographies, insights, representative matters, and any other content — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
Legal advice depends on the specific facts and circumstances of your matter and can only be provided by an attorney with whom you have established a formal attorney-client relationship. If you have a legal question, please consult an attorney directly — whether one of ours or another.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Your access to the Site, your contact with the Firm through this website, your transmission of information to us, and your receipt of information from us do not create an attorney-client relationship.
An attorney-client relationship with CaseWell is established only when:
- You and the Firm have executed a written engagement letter
- The Firm has performed conflict checks and accepted your matter
- Any required retainer has been received
Until each of these has occurred, the Firm is not your attorney, and information you transmit to us is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
Confidentiality of Communications
Communications submitted through our intake form, by email, or by phone before an engagement letter is signed are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
While the Firm takes reasonable measures to safeguard the information you provide, we cannot guarantee confidentiality until a formal engagement is in place. We strongly recommend that you do not transmit privileged, confidential, or sensitive material until we have formally accepted your matter in writing.
If you need to convey confidential information for the purpose of evaluating a potential engagement, please contact us first by phone to discuss the appropriate means of doing so.
Prior Results
The Site includes descriptions of selected representative matters and outcomes. These descriptions are illustrative only and do not constitute guarantees, warranties, or predictions regarding any other matter.
Every legal matter is unique, and outcomes depend on facts and circumstances that vary case by case. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
